PA2500 for Windows 2000 Version 1.15 w/NEW DLL We support WIN2K with our existing user code but a new DLL driver is needed. This driver must be installed into a WIN2K machine for the PA2500 to communicate with host machine. If you need this software please contact us. Software Developers Kit for the PA2500 Spectrum Aanalyzer For users who wish to operate the model PA2500 in a custom manner a Software Delevlopers Kit is available. It consists of a DLL that is compatible with the Windows 95 operating system. The SDK, using a Dynamic Link Library(DLL), allows the user to write high level GUI programs without getting involved in the details of how the machine works. From the DLL the machine looks like a "tuned" power meter that allows the user to command a floating point frequency and read a floating point power level. Also all instrument settings such as RBW, VBW, Internal Attenuation etc. are controllable via the DLL. Example programs like Windows programs written in Delphi and basic console programs written in C++ are provided that illustrates the basic function and control provided by the DLL. The DLL is also very generic and flexible. For example, the frequency does not have to be in a swept format. In fact any set of random frequencies can be commanded and measured. This allows for hopping type measurements. Plotting functions are not provided. PA2500 Schematics
